Greg Minor
General Manager Maserati San Francisco
If
you set out to design from scratch the ideal overseer of a high
performance dealership, it's a sure bet you would end up with Greg
Minor. Minor has been in the thick of top-flight performance since 1978
when he took a job as a technician servicing a European nameplate.
In 1980 he opened his own shop, selling and servicing a variety
of European marques. He operated the shop for 17 years. Minor joined
Boardwalk not long after it was founded in 1999, working in the Group's
inceptive Porsche dealership. He took the helm of Boardwalk Maserati in
Plano, Texas, just after the Group acquired the joint Ferrari-Maserati
dealership in 2004.
Instrumental in forging ties between Boardwalk and the Bay Area
Ferrari-Maserati dealership, Minor transferred to Maserati of San
Francisco in 2009 after the Boardwalk acquisition.
Minor's affiliation with Maserati is especially auspicious. A
competitive driver in Formula Ford, Sports 2000, and Formula Super Vee
racing classes, Minor built the successful Boardwalk Ferrari Challenge
Team. He has a deep understanding of the rarified, iconic performance
ingrained the Maserati marque. "I've done exotic cars," he says. "I've
raced a lot."
A licensed commercial pilot and a father of four, Minor says he
is driven to create the ultimate high performance retreat for his
Maserati clients. "We're not really selling cars," he insists. "We're
selling a dream."
